Not watching it, but sounds about right for this country.
The justice system sucks as do a lot of things.
If I was 20/30 younger I'd emigrate

aww im so angry i cant tell you... it takes a year at least for the bank to have started repo... till the end sometimes your talking about 3... they lived in luxury despite other prisoners familys.. not to mention the pensioners that were ripped off having to really really struggle to make ends meet.. they have a huge stash of wedding dresses that they managed to keep from a business that they had to shut as 'they couldnt run it from home it wasnt professional' tell you what.. ebay them! and donate to a worthy cause.. she drives a top of the range car

selfish,crimal actions... yet allowed

What's worse, as it's a "White collar" crime he'll probably only serve half his sentence if that.
The people he ripped off will serve their sentence until the day they die, so unfair

everyome serves half the sentence nothing unusual about that

To be honest that kind of offence and offender has appeared on a tv programme as its not the norm as are most things about the justice system put in paper of the tv which is why people moan about it. In general it works reasonably well bar the current lack of government funding which makes the system more difficult for every person involved in it

True, a lot of people think things are worse than they are because the media sensationalise the most extreme cases.

It's like the recession. I know times are tough, but I'm sure a lot of people aren't as bad off as they think they are because of the media. In fact, I'm sure the recession is at least partly caused and continuing because of the media going on about the recession.

My brother is a QC, & tbh the whole justice system imo needs a shake up as it's very much a case of if you have money, you get the best representation, if you don't then you have no chance

Im an experienced and busy criminal solicitor and totally disagree with that if Im being honest. As a barrister hes probably annoyed with the justice system as their monopoly and time is over something solicitors have adapted to but barristers have been slow to react to
