I have a fish in my tank whihc has caused quite a lot of debate since it was first spotted as a tiny baby fish of about 2mm. At first I was convinced it was a Danio as we had both zebra and leopards in the tank, but the more it has grown the more it looks like a guppy. I knoe Guppies are livebearing and Danioas egglayers so would this be a feasible cross? I will tray and get my daughter to take pics on her cam phone and add one.

Never in a million years. Guppies are fertilised internally, while danios scatter the eggs and sperm across the substrate. They are also very distantly related, so hybridisation would be impossible even if the eggs and sperm met.

It's most likely a baby guppy, which can happen even if you have no males in the tank. Females can be fertilised in the shop but not deliver the offspring for many months afterwards (they are able to arrest the development of fertilised eggs). It is also possible a baby danio survived, though unlikely, because most fish will eat baby egg-layers very quickly. Even with baby livebearers, which are so much bigger, the odds of survival in a community tank are slim.

Cheers,

Neale
