Sorry. Well, anything that will go in a 29 gallon freshwater tank. I dont watn the traditional fish. I like my shrimp I got today and might get some more. I heard that after they shed they die. How can you prevent this from happening?
They don't die after they shed, they lose the old outer shell and it looks like a dead shrimp and since they hide constantly you don't find the real one
no they do not die after the shed, but they r very vunerable cuz they have no shell yet and r soft . all shed every year. i used to own crayfish and i still have some in my pond and they shed. it justs means they r getting bigger because the exoskeleton cannot grow along with them so the must get a new one.
like nix sayed mussles and clams which r good for the tank because they r filter feeders. u must be careful with what u put them with to because the do not move much at all and fish with beak like mouths will eat then right up. also they canot stand any copper levels
