Hello everyone
I’m new to this forum, it was recommended to me by my friend My name is Ciara, and I live in Cork, Ireland.
I have been keeping tropical fish for a while now.
I was one of those really silly people who saw a pretty Betta in my local fish store and decided to buy him and a 54l tank after doing no research. That was almost 7 years ago. As soon as I realised my error, I set about making things right and from that day I have continued to learn and develop my fish knowledge
I have since upgraded to a 250L tank, which is about 3 years old now. I have a mix of peaceful fish in the tank, mainly live bearers. I also have some neocaridina and snails.
Since January last year I have put a lot of effort into scaping my tank and I started to introduce live plants. I am now focusing on getting the “heavily planted” look in my tank
