Looks bigger than a 3 foot tank but pictures can be deceiving :lol:

Clown loaches are cool, I like them, but better in larger numbers, 6+ more I would suggest as they are social fish.
But the tank won’t be big enough for them when they’re adults though, they grow pretty big tbh :/

There may be stocking incompatibility with the other fish, in particular with aggressiveness amongst the black belt, the Oscar, red and green terrors when these fish get bigger just to warn you.

Hi and welcome!
I'm just a beginner here, but I'll try to help if I can. Cheers from fellow Andy

Welcome to the forum! I'm new here too, still in the re-learning process after leaving the hobby for a year or two, hopefully we can help each other out :)

@Ch4rlie

I know right? It looks bigger but everyones living perfectly at the moment. Theres no significant aggression as of yet (maybe because they're juveniles) but everyone stands their ground.

Given theres multiple cichlids who are aggressive - high possibility they won't lock onto one target.

In my other post I've mentioned i have the 6ft tank when theyre older, so fingers crossed I can have a monster tank without anyone dying

Thank you for the clown loach tip - i'll get more hehe

Food for thought though;

Anyone here with birchir experience? I sound crazy with all these predator cichlids but I just love em.

Also!
I'll be setting up tanks to house: a black nasty cichlid pair so that'll be fun.
