introducing Graslendi

This is my VT called Graslendi (Icelandic for green)

he is in 8 gal, currently with 2 red claw crabs and an unidentified shrimp.
There are two small Botia rostrata (thin and need feeding up) also in with him

I have no idea what the plant is called

His tail should heal nicely, if you keep the water nice, and clean. I don't know about those crabs though. They worry me. Since he is a marble, don't be surprised when that darker (grey?) color takes over a lot more of his coloring.
He is/will be very pretty though.

lol yeah I might be a little worried about those crabs too...they do eat fish for dinner . And that shrimp may come up missing too..because Beeta's like shrimp for dinner on occasson. Not sure what those other fish are..but if they are pretty the betta may not like them much.

He's a real looker though..very pretty.

the crabs are small atm but they will be moved as
soon as my krib fry are big enough to sell on.

as for the shrimp he is approx 6cm and there is no way
the betta could eat him

id remove the shrimp if u value him at all he will be eaten my your new friend. i wouldn't worry about teh crabs, iv had them before and they wont nip unless the fish violates their space, very anti-social would definately keep an eye on it but i dont see the need to remove them unless it is apparent that they are a threat

I've never kept crabs but I know shrimp are pure evil. I'm sure you know what's up in your own tank though.

Graslendi is beautiful..... his tail looks kind of like a trident in the 2nd pic.

ok I'm 99% sure the shrimp is a chameleon shrimp
and therefor very nasty. as for the crabs well the opiniopn on them is divided
50/50 on dangerousness.
so that leaves me with a reason to set up my empty 7.5 gal tank for the shrimp and crabs
