Nemo! (My kids named him  )
We adore him. He was very feisty in his tiny cup at the store, and his attitude captured my heart. He took to his new tank immediately, checking out every inch. He is very active, but does like to rest on his plants. He has a nice little bubble nest in the upper right corner too.

He still isn't eating much, I have given him one pellet a day, making sure he would eat it before I gave him more. Yesterday is the first day he ate though, and he played with it for quite a while before eating it. Wouldn't eat a second one. Perhaps he eats it later though? He does pick stuff off the gravel. And he likes to catch food as it falls. He showed no interest in the bloodworm I offered. He was very bright turquoise at first as the pics show, but a couple of days later, he seems a little darker and richer coloured, a deeper more irridescent royal blue, but the tail and upper fin are still bright turquoise. He has more red than the pictures show, a nice blush on the body and those long fins on the bottom behind the head are bright red. I saw a red one that I just loved too at the lps, so Nemo may be our first but won't be our last!

Your photos come up as a red cross on my computer, would like to have seen them though :(

Good lookin' Betta there!! ( I really like the black mask, how it seems to come to a point on his 'spine'!! )

This must be the fourth or fifth Betta 'Nemo' I've met, heheh. Whoever made that movie ( Disney? Pixar? *shrug* ) should buy stock in Bettas....
