Hi quick question, visit to LFS discovered Interpet "fishbox aquarium" , acrylic(?) with bow front , tempted to use for a shellie tank, just want to know if anyone has ever used them or any experience of them?
Any correspondence greatly appreciated... :good:

I have a ten gallon fish box bow front, and it was my first fish tank, and still is, not had any problems with it still usinng the same heater i got in the set, still using same light bulb, i didnt use the filter as i bought a fluval 2 instead, extreamly hardy to scratch, had mine a year.

I've got a 48l fishbox myself. I think it's a great tank. Haven't had any problems with any part of it, including the filter. I've got a bigger tank cos of my choices of fish, lol, but the fishbox is just being moved to the bedroom and will run there with some of my smaller fish. If you want larger fish then keep in mind that you'll have to upgrade pretty quickly but definately don't be put off it. :good:
And yes it's acrylic.

Yep, i've got one too...the 64lt version.

Looks a bit better than my older flat glass tank as well :good:

I've had mine around 7 months & still using the interpet heater, but i find you have to keep an eye on the pump as the water flow slows down a wee bit & needs a rinse out every other week.
