Interpet River Reef Lighting

Hello there,

I am currently running an INterpet River Reef 50 with two T5 bulbs. I wanted to find somewhere that sold an actinic bulb 420 and a 14,000K white bulb. I believe Arcadia sell them but I can't find out if they make a bi-bulb (four pin) that fits or where I can by them. Can anyone help???

are you looking to add an extra bulb or replace a white?

if your looking to replace a white, then re-consider. Theres more useful light in the white tubes for your corals

Thanks for the quick response. Do you think that the lights I have at the moment will be fine then? Would I be able to keep a clam?

not a clam no, small nano sized clams need an insane amount of light as they dont filter feed as much as big ones. Two t5s should be ok afor softies and maybe the odd LPS coral higher up the tank though.
