Interpet Control 25-30w

I am looking at the Interpet Control 25-30W - for new lighting in my tank. The product info states it fits both T5 and T8 lighting. In the Interpet catalogue it says this starter unit fits all tubes, both 1" and 1.5". So are these sizes T5 and T8?

I just want to be sure I get the correct thing. I want T5 lights so am looking for a cheap T5 starter, and if this one does what it says then it will be ideal...

According to Wikipedia, those sizes correspond to T8 and T12 (since, for diameters measured in imperial units, the digits after the T correspond to the number of eights of an inch: T8 = 8/8 = 1", T12 = 12/8 = 1.5", T5 = 5/8 = 0.625").

Thanks, I didn't think it was correct for T5. Shame a that would be a good price.
