INTERPET BRAND "EASY READ" AQUARIUM THERMOMETER

I've no experience of this particular type but it's made for aquariums so it will be fine. It's no cheaper than a thermometer bought from any lfs though.

Thanks, i will see about checking out my local fish shop to morrow .

Will get some exercise out on my bike, while my mums at work :D.

Don't get it! I have one that type and its horrible...its always floating free and is irritating to read...I've actually stopped using it and bought a standard 'stick on outside' one to replace it...Maybe thats just me tho' :look:

I use both as the 'digital' stick on glass ones are not that acurate.

Glad someone said about them being 1.75 - i was about to buy 2 as it seemed a fair price :D

But they sink!

Sometimes BigJif knocks it off and I find it on the sand in the morning, not floating around.

It's got a strong attachment though and doesn't come off very often.

Mine doesn't sink :( That would be ok! It just whirls round and round the tank in the current like a mad thing...

I did use it to double check my 'digital' (agree with the rofl btw- who are they kidding!) ones (I use a pair of different branded ones) and they seem ok - they also match what my heater thermostat thinks, and each other so I'm happy they are close enough...They don't seem to work on the biOrb tho' unless it really is 24 in there (unheated coldwater tank)

Maybe I'll sell the interpret one on eBay *hehe*

I bought the same thing from my lfs, and they charged me £1.69

Loads cheaper than from eBay. :D

Thanks guys.

PS - My fish tank is about 18°C

.
