does anyone use an internet speed booster?
if so what do you use and where did you get it

I've never heard of these/dont knoe if they exist.

Total waste of effort.

They work by looking at the web page you're on and automatically following every link on the page and loading it in cache so that when you visit that link everything is already there waiting for you.

Sounds good in principle, but in practice it causes huge fragmentation of your hard drive, it's very resource heavy and can actually slow down access to pages that it hasn't cached if you move in a directio it wasn't expecting.
