Hi All
I posted on here last week about a friend fish who had white stringy poo and stopped eating , she then noticed 1 of her rams had the same so added interpet internal parasite and put 1 dose in then other dose 4 days later . Today all should be ok but now 2 of her other fish are showing the same thing . The fish are still not eating .
Her tank is 3 years old , water stats are 0 on ammonia and nitrite , she has a good weekly clean and water change also big clean 1 month of filter in tank water . she changes 30% water on each clean also 2 buckets in middle of week .
New in her tank was 2 angels , 1 of which has this problem also she added 2 small bags of black sand to her tank just before this started which she rinsed well before adding .also 3 new plants.
All fish look healthy even the 1 which are having this problems. She gives them a varied diet of flakes , live food and pellets .
She has gone and bought some more interpet meds as due for clean and redoes the meds tonight but asked me to post again as now really worried about this as it is spreading through her tank .
She is also thinking about tanking out all the substrate so she can vacuum the tank daily as maybe fish are eating the white poo .
The fish that have this is a angel , ram, keyhole and brn plec.
