Insatiable appetite for more fish

Some people are addicted to their smartphones. My wife cannot be separated from her’s. I have no such attachment. Some people are addicted to fast food, fast cars, drugs or alcohol. Not my problems. But since I purchased my first tank in December 2023 I have been accumulating more tanks and more fish, frogs, neocaridina, crayfish and snails. Hello. I just had a call from an importer friend who is getting Nigerian fish, including (possibly) killies. I could drive to the airport for that. It's only 4 hours each way. Nigerian exporters can be sort of careless. I once found a tetra, and four different killie species in one bag that was supposed to be all tetras. I don't get intrigued by such possibilities. Oh no.

Hi, my name is not Malok, I use a pseudonym to hide my identity because after more than 20 years under control... I'm currently going trough an acute MTS relapse. It is my first time with an MTS support group.

I'm at the point, that I have more tanks than fishes and more algae than plants.

Under 8 months, I setup and cycled 3 tanks... One is ridden with shrimps the second with bladder snails and the third with green string algae.

Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want so many little fishies, but my little voice says that, "environment is not ready and maintenance will be quite high. (too high)"

Now I'm thinking to tear down 2 of these tanks that are "Fish Ready Cycled" to replace the substrate and convert them to air powered Matten Filters... Peroxide all plants, trow out substrate, and current filter. Then restart cycling..

...Before adding fish...
