Fish Crazy
I have a cycling tank, its past the first spike (and of course, my filter just died, so I'm writing it off and going to a water change every two days -- ten gallon tank, divided, three betta)
But, when I was on vacation, one of my more... energetic males decided that he would leap over the divider and pick a fight. He lost.
This is the winning fish -- this is a shot of the more injured side of him. He is eating, he is active.
I have added a little salt to the tank, and I'm going to switch to every other day water changes for a while to promote better water quality while he heals up.
What do you estimate his chances of survival are? This tank was also just recovering from Ich -- It was treated when the fight occured. I need to continue treating as I do not think all of them are quite dead yet. Will this hamper the healing process?
Do you think he will heal at all?
Here is the shot:
Thanks, i appreciate any thoughts. Currently I have cycle, salt and Nox-ich in the tank.
