Well has you know i have recent spawns of trilineatus fry, well looking at them today,(with a magnifying glass  )several look slightely different, the trilineatus normally have very faint stripes on them which get stronger has they get bigger, well i know my skunks have been quite active and i did see them in the T position once, could it be possible some of them could be skunk fry??
They look similar to the trilineatus, but like i said they appear paler and the stripes aren't showing, more like they have a black dot or smudge on their wee back?

Is there any way to tell them apart or will i have to wait patiently  for them to grow

If you could get photos I bit some that has bred skunks could tell you.

I hope you dont mind me joining this thread Harlequins, I would quite like the following picture identified if at all possible and thought best not to start another thread? If out of order sorry hon!

Caudimaculatus or Gold Stripes? (I suspect Caudis as they bred before)
Your probably about to tell me toooooo early

Are you fry picturable Harlequins? Shame cant borrow some of the awesome cameras people have on here to make it easier..

that's a good photo. How old are they?

I'm going to guess Caudimaculatus because of the spots. But that is just a guess.

Just had to check but 2.5 weeks old, I really hate my camera I did the same as everything else and this picture came out really good compared to the others  Thanks snowflake, I think that is my guess too :good:

I dont mind Amy :)

I can't see your pic

Well i thought my new camera would pick out the fry with all its settings, but they just come out a blur...

hmmm not sure why you cant see it hon (thank you for letting me though!). Have you tried macro setting and no flash, this works best for me though you have to be super still!
