Incey Wincey Problem

There's a spider in my toilet.

He's under the rim hiding.

The problem is, it's my fault he's in there.

He was minding his own business hanging out somewhere on the bathroom blinds, until I pulled the cord to close them, then he was unceremoniously flipped off and on to my arm - where I reacted to him without thinking, and flicked my arm, and he went down the bog. Sorry dude.

How do I get him out? I mean, you can't call them like a cat or dog, there's nothing that attracts them, like I could put jam down for an ant or a wasp, and I really do need to flush the toilet. He's been in there over an hour.

I've made a toilet paper "ladder", hung a long length over the side and down onto the floor, in the hope that he will wander out. I have also gone round under the rim with one of Dylan's water pistols, to see if I could knock him loose and rescue him from the pan, but he's holding fast.

Any ideas anyone? I feel bad because it's my fault he's in this predicament. If I flush him, he might die, and while I appreciate it's just a spider.....it's a live spider, that I caused this misfortune to bad karma. What a way to go.

Eww! I couldnt risk it and have to say Id flush! Im terrified of anything bug like that has too many legs!
Id even be scared to flush incase he came back out after me, how sad is that lol!

I've been all under the rim with a square of toilet paper trying to shush him out but I can't find him, and I would certainly pick him up if I could find him. The problem is, he's hidden deep under the rim where I can neither see him nor reach him. I know he's under there because I made a grab for him when I realised where he had landed and he ran up there

Poor Dan was doing a dance, he had just come in to use the loo when I went spider-flipping and I wouldn't let him wee until I had found the spider. The spider hid and Dan pee'd but I have to get the spider out so we can flush.

Spidars usually come out in the dark.
One was on me in the kitchen I flicked it off panicked it was stunned for a second but he soon ran off, caught him and put him outside.

They are creepy little things, great big long legs, hairy, fangs, all those eyes.....
Im getting chills down my spine now!
I even panic when I get a money spider on me!
