I want to get 4 albino bristlenose from a local breeder. They will be in the same tank and although I'm not planning on breeding them what would happen if they did. Is it a bog no no for fish from same parents to breed?

Within plec circles it would always be better to breed different bloodlines to ensure better quality healthier fry, however if you have no plan on raising the them, there really isn't anything bad about it.

Even if you was to raise them, i doubt very much you would have many problems apart from 'MAYBE' a few deformities and maybe a slight weakness to individuals immune systems. you really could do with a geneticist to answer questions like this because they would know the full in's and outs.

But IMO it would always be better to raise fry which have been bred from unrelated parents.

Inbreeding is how various trait are created with fish, as well as other animals. You could inbreed them for several generations before issues appeared, though I would find out from the breeder if the parent's are related, and how so.
