Img Tag

Had an interesting one today, went to put a couple of pictures in a post to aid identification of a fish, and on posting it said that the image tag isn't allowed? Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Does this apply to all linked images ie photobucket etc which is where I host most of my pictures?

no idea what part of the forum that was in, but in some sections you can only use the upload feature ( from your computer)

can you see an upload button in the section youre talking about?

I was in the New To Fishkeeping section and there was no upload button that I could see. Very strange.

Hi, You can add a image via the Insert image logo

, it will require you to add the photo's URL minus the http/

The picture url will normally end in jpg and can be found by right clicking on the picture and then selecting properties... you should then be able to view the URL of the picture.

I spend lots of time in that part of the forum and it works fine with img tags. I have no idea what was going on but the img tags work fine there just like here. This image brought to you by img codes.

There was extra php stuff at the end of the link I was trying to use and that knocked it out. Just couldn't see it the other day!
