Im Thinking Going Marine Again

im thinking on using my 5 gal as a nano. do you think this stocking
is appropriate.
1 three striped damsel, a dancing plant, a goby and a cleaner shrimp
and possably a royal gamma
with pleanty of rocks providing each fish to claim territory
what do you think

my personal view, i would not keep any of them in a 5 gallon.

1. The damsel are very agressive and would try and kill the others also very active and like more space.
2. To small for a royal gramma, possibly getting 5"

I would, if it were me either go a bit bigger or look into something like a neon goby. 1 fish MAX

Your fish your tank do what you want. If you put that damsel in with other fish, your only going to have 1 fish left anyway. What did i say about 1" 1 gallon, there aint one for saltwater. Get a bigger tank then, and dont be so god damn rude, typical Liverpudian(sp).

TBH dude, theres no need to come on here asking for what your going todo and ask for views and advice then completely lare off betta. Granted what he said.

A 5 Gallon marine tank is very hard to maintain a stable marine environment then you think. Freshwater is completely different to your 14 gallon.
This is because you have got to maintain a good constant PH, SG, temp, ammonia,nitrite and nitrate which is very hard in a small amount of water.
As for your claim that if the fish aint ill or dead its not stressed well you will find you can tell, how?
1. colour of the fish
2. Activity of the fish
3. feeding
4. gasping for air is even one!
With these points there will be a high chance that 98% marine fish part from inverts such as crabs and cleaner shrimps will become stressed, leading to ich, to death. So you would of just wasted your money.

If you want 3 fish you would be better off with a 20 gallon min its then easier to maintain and wont cause as many issues.

You can do what ever you want but it will only end in you loosing out trust me.

You really are unbelievable, Black Molly. People have tried helping you before, including myself, but you obviously don't want to listen.
As for the 1" per gallon rule, it's completely different with marine, as we have learnt. A lot of people use 1" per 5 gallons so there is no way your stocking will be ok in that tank. Hae you actually done any research into setting up a marine tank? We've just spent three months reading up and learning from people what we can before we even considered it.
I suggest that you do more research on animal care and well being befor owning anything.
