i have around 12 albino cory babies which are just over 2cms, they are perfect replicas of their mum and dad.
anyway i asked my local petshop yesterday if they would mind having my corys free of charge, but because i always go in there for bits and bobs they agreed to give me money for my corys, 50p.

so i get £6 for 12 corys not bad, and im taking them my 9inch pleco aswell becasue hes just getting too big for my tank, they dont know what they are going to give me for that yet

ill keep u posted on what happens :)

thats not too bad we rehomed 50+ beautiful bright orange swordie babies recently & got a tub of fishfood & about 10 plants but as we were just anxious to get them rehomed we were happy!!!
except i really HATE taking babies ive raised to the lfs makes me sad.

Hi guppy_man :)

Good for you!

The folks who buy your corys will find they make an easy adjustment to their tanks because they have been raised in local water. Many independent lfs like to buy home raised corys for just this reason. They are also probably more healthy than farm raised or wild caught corys since you have grown them under the best conditions and fed them on highly nutritious food.

Do you plan to raise any more corys?
