hi all. curretnly have a 96 litre tank with

2 kuhli loaches
3 platties
2 shrimp
6 neons

dont know what to add to tank so am after ideas......................... cheers for your help everyone

You need to get some surface loving fish ie: marbled hatchets. to fill the different water layers. (top, middle & Bottom)

how many of them can i have also do they need special feedin req etc...

i also read they are prone to disease? are there any other surface dwellers?

They like to shoal and look better that way. I would say at least six to eight. They like to jump sometimes so make sure you have a tight fitting hood. I would feed normal flake food to mine and frozen bloodworm. They will seldom go down for food so when feeding frozen bloodworm, I melt a cube in a fine mesh net and with a pair of tweezers i take individual worms and try and suspend them on the waters surface (it can be done) when I am sure that they have had enough I throw the rest of the worms into the tank for the other fish to enjoy.
