I'm New To Breeding

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and also new to tropical Fish breeding! My platy is giving birth as we speck, she already had 19 how many will she have altogether?
I've also got 2 pregnant Mollies, One is really Fat. Please can anyone tell me when she going to give birth?

They probably give birth after couple of days. They breed like hell. They want stop breeding. like every 2 weeks they breed.

My Play had 20 babies todaay and all doing fine But can some please please help me! with my Mollies. I have a sliver Molly who looks really Fat. How do I know when she going to give birth, so i can put her in the breeding Net.

I hope someone can help me please.

When I had black mollies I found the best way was to just keep looking and see when she slowed her movement and started panting, not much help though when at work so I purchased a cheap tank of 30 litre and put the mum in breading trap and made a large hole in the bottom so the young just swim straight into the tank.

Thank you so much for your help, someones in all day, so we can keep a eye on her. does she go black at the back, like Guppies and Platys? It's the first time for keeping Mollies. sorry to be a pain.

basicly yes they will turn black, this is the eyes of the babies showing through but it can be very difficult to see this depending on the colour of the fish.
After the first young you will get to learn when the young are due a bit more by the size of the mums tummy, she will get very large upto double the width.
