I'm new and lost already

Hello All,

I am a super newbie....... I only have 2 fish in a 2 gallon tank. I know some of you will probably freak out about that, but it's for my 3 year old son and I thought fish were better than hamsters, birds or guinea pigs or even cats and dogs......yuck. Anyway, I am new at this type of a website so bear with me there too.

My tank is 2 gallons
and in the tank are 2 platies, little girl and big girl (my son named them)

That's my intro, I know it isn't much, but I'll get better at this soon, I hope.

welcome K! ^^ Platties are wonderful little fish, but i'd suggest checking yours out. if either is fat or has a dark gravid spot or either has a more pointed anal fin rather than a fan-like fin, you'll need a bigger tank or a predaceous fishie.

because you'll have tons of baby fishies
