Hi All,
I only joined the forums 3 days ago and i would like to say i am well and truely hooked,there are so many helpful people out there and already i have had so much fantastic advice from you.The only thing is i now cant stay away!!!!!! Every time i pass the computer i have to see if anything new has happened.what a great site and a really friendly bunch of members.keep up the great work and seasons greetings to you all

Fish and fishkeeping can quickly get into your blood. I too, find myself checking in often even if I don't post that particular time. What really gets me is how uncaring and mean my live-in fiance is. How dare she say that three tanks (I have a little 10 gal not in my sig) are enough? SHE'S THE ONE WHO WANTED FISH in the first place

my mom is probly like alot of your wives. evreytime i have to go to the LFs for food or test kits or something ill be walking to the counter and she will have a bag of her beloved NEON TETRAS and yet when it comes time for a new tank she says one is enough.

I start work at 6am most days. I alwaysd take 10 minutes before work to check the forum and rth say hi to peeps in chat....

And to tell them my latest fishie news....

Me at walmart with friends...."Oh god, the fish aisle again!"


At any fish store with my mom...."Not more fish! You don't need anymore fish!" (ten minutes later) "So, what did you get?"


Mom at two in the morning....."What the hell are you doing on there now? Get off that forum!"


Me....."I could put a tank there....hmm, that ten dollars Tom owes me would work out to another cory, an otto, two more guppies and a enough for tax maybe unless, I add two, plus some change...special order.... must get that pellet food...another ten gallon would be how much....check adds for any tanks....I want cash for Christmas, unless you want to count that new air pump as a present?"


It's sorta sad really..... NOT!! Love my fishies!! Love forum!

im the same way. i spend a lot of money on fish and its my obession. i also found myself on this forum too much, its a really good forum. What probaly pushed me into the fish keeping obession is the fact my good friend is the extact same way. He has i believe 4 tanks in his room and its cramed. when other friends are over we are talking about fish and my friends go what, whats that. i find it funny

What probaly pushed me into the fish keeping obession is the fact my good friend is the extact same way.

That's what got me into it too. Once I got my 10g, I was instantly hooked, now I spend more than half of my free time on one forum or another. My mom hates it, but, oh well.

My mom likes to buy fish too, but she has her own 46g bowfront. One day we just go into a petstore and come out with a 46g. I didn't know about it beforehand either.

It really is a good forum.

some of my friends like fish i also have my friends who hate fish and think its a waste. As for my mom she thinks the same way thinks its a waste of money and time yet i catch looking at my tank saying that fish is neat.
