I'm Going To Smash This 2213.

Over the last few month my Eheim 2213 has been getting worse. Now its just dribbling out. I've had to run an internal along with it.
Media is all the media the came with it, about two years old, clean the filter once a month and have cleaned hoses numerous times these past two months. Still useless. Its going to go out the window soon.

Anyone else have the same problem? Or know the solution to this piece of #105###e?

I don't know what thats like but I had a similar problem with my Juwel pump. Was working fine then all of a sudden hardly put any water out. I took it to my LFS for a replacement but they just cleaned it out and it works fine now. They did it for free too!

Swear filter changed it.

Its the impellier ceramic shaft
or its little cups that it seats in are worn

dismantle the head at the bottom and take out the impellier and shaft

Sorry big C, I should have said, I also replaced the impeller, shaft and the rubbers about two months ago.

Hmmmm.....
OK. Try running it empty with a bucket of water......to see if the pump is working as it should.
What head height are you pumping to.
Eheims are very reliable especially the classic range... I have used these externals now for over 40 yrs with no quibbles....as you guessed I'm a Eheim fan. lol

I've ran it empty and still no joy. Just the same flow. I've put it beside a TV cabinet at the same height as it and still no joy, I did have it in the cabinet underneath the tank for over a year and this started whilst it was in there. The hoses I cut when I first got it and they're 2.5ft.
