That's fine. I have zero experience in breeding domesticated Bettas.

Good luck! The only thing I know about breeding bettas is that the veiltail gene is dominant. So if one parent is a veiltail, all the babies will be veiltail too.
I would love to see your pair. Could you post some pics?
