Fish Fanatic
Hey all,
On Sunday, I'm going to the Philadelphia Area Betta Society International Show and Auction to buy another betta! I've got my tank set up and cycled, and have been planning this for about 20 days. I'm hoping to get a turquoise halfmoon, but we'll see what happens. My one question is: are there any basic guidelines I should know about purchasing a betta at an auction? (I've never bid at a live auction before)
I don't need a super breeding-quality fish, I just want a pretty companion. I'm willing to pay up to thirty dollars, so guess I should bid on whatever fish I like, up to thirty dollars?
I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions.
Thanks!
