I'm Back!

Aloha! Maui was sooooo beautiful! We went snorkling at Molokini and it was like swimming in an enormous salt water tank! The fish were sooooo cool and absolutely GORGEOUS! My favorite fish were the pink tailed triggers, hawaiian black triggers, and gray triggers... yeah, I'm a triggerfish nutcase. As soon as I move the picasso and the clown into a bigger tank I'm gonna try to get some baby hawaiian black triggers... they are so cute and friendly! Not as vicious as my two little brats! Oh, and they are doing great! I just moved them back into their tank a few days ago... Bandit (the clown) was torn up a little bit on the sides 'cause Kihei was such a snot to him, but a little bit of Melafix and he has healed completely! Anyway... just wanted to say "hi" to everyone... so, HI!

wow, maui is somewhere I'v always wanted to visit along with the maldives. not just for the fish but for the great surf there. some of the biggest waves ever recorded break there! love to and watch after a big pacific swell!

anyways, sorry to hijack the thread and welcome back, sounds like you've enjojed your break.

Hey 3fsh when were you in Maui???
I just got back from Hawaii myself, I was in Oahu for 8 days.
I went snorkling on the north shore and Hanauma Bay, it was so awesome.
Glad you had fun too.....

I was in Maui from the 25th of August until the 2nd of September. Almost visited Oahu, but didn't have enough time. I almost cried when we had to return home. Hawaii is the most amazing/beautiful/spectacular place I have ever been to. Definitely gotta go back sometime soon!

That's cool... I was in Oahu Waikiki beach from Aug 29 to sept 5
It was my second time in Hawaii, my first time I went to Maui and Oahu.
Did you do the "Road to Hana" That was the best part of Maui for me. Water falls around every corner...It was awesome.
I can't wait to go back to see the big island (Hawaii) and Kauai........

We went to Hana to go horse-back riding, but we actually took the "other road to Hana". It trails along the coast for about 40 miles, which would be nice, but half-way it turns into a one lane unpaved road! Ugh... It was uncomfortable enough on the way up, but on the way back (with a VERY sore rear) it was almost unbearable. The horse ride made up for it, though.

We went back on that road and yeah it was in bad shape.....
Those cattle road block things were a little shaky when driving over them.
How did you like that one point in the road where the cliff was on side and the mountain on the other, just enough room for one car with about 2 inches to spare........

Sounds like I might have to go to Hawaii instead of the Bahamas this year...hmmm.
