Two weeks ago my friend was kind enough to let me see her managerie of animals which includes her Betta "collection" (just kidding, she's a breeder). I fell in love with these interesting and beautiful animals at once! I love purple and so came her quest to find a purple betta for me. She happened on one and his name is Kiyoshi Phish. He's a purple comb-tail and he's just an absolutely gorgeous fish (I don't have any pictures yet). My friend gave me lots of advice and he's doing great! I just wanted to share...by the way Kiyoshi means quiet in Japanese.
