Looking at the tank, at the L.R, and saw what i thought at first were baby fish swimming in the holes of a piece of rock, got my torch to see better in there and saw these eyes light up bright red in the torch beam swimming around the hole, looked in other holes and saw more/ Left it until a few hours after the lights had gone off and looked again with a red filter, and saw them swimming from hole to hole, and noticed they werent fish :( but baby shrimp :D , i thought i noticed one of my cleaner skunks had a bloated green belly a few weeks ago, so looked on net and said that a green belly was a sign of pregnancy, and they then turn silver and give birth. with it being a busy time of year ive not had chance to look at the tank in any great detail, just to feed and top-up ect. Really chuffed, will all probably become food though! :( .
Also noticed whilst looking at the rock for quite a while tonight ( 1.5 hrs :*) ) a crab i havent seen before, 2 large bristleworms, 1 was around 4" or so, white sides with a red back end (???) loads of sponges on the undersides of the L.R, my pistol shrimp!!, which i havent seen since putting it in, a couple of brittle stars, loads of tiny snails ( too small to I.D ) some bigger that ive not seen before that i dont know what they are, and finally found my dory's bedtime cave, god knows how he/she squeezes in there. All very cool! :D :D :D

I doubt they are baby shrimp. For these things to liev they need micro plankton or zooplankton to grow and most tanks cannot provide this. Its most likely to be Copopods and Amphipods living in the rock. they are about this size and wil swim around inside the rocks with relative ease.

At night they will usually venture forth onto the rock

Ive looked at pics of both, and have had both for a while, but these are def new!, there eyes glow up exactly the same as adult cleaners do, and they move around the same way also., ive been looking at info on them breeding and found that they do readily breed, but its very hard to keep them alive, they become food very quickly and feeding them is a problem as you said, they were very small, 1- 2mmmaybe, and swam very fast from hole to hole. Im going to look into building a trap cause i saw another crab last night, so wantto i.d them, although after this lenght of time i dont think theyve caused any damage, and to see if i can catch anything else.
