My tank is currently cycling!

22 Gallon tank (23.94" x 12.5" x 16.81").
Top Fin 40 wet/dry trickle filter.
24" Fluorescent Aquarium Reflector (120v, 19w, 60hz).
Auto Thermowave heater (100w, 120v, 60hz).

DIY 2 liter CO2 pump with an airstone at the end. The bubbles are just escaping. :( I'm also using liquid fertilizer.

Not sure on the first plant, its one of those I see at my LFS in bunches and never named. Second plant looks like "Cryptocoryne x willisii" to me :)

You could do with a Nutrafin ladder diffuser for your CO2 bottle :) Might be able to get one second hand for $4 or $5 I would hope.

I just found a snail. It most likely came from my last plant.

I circled what I thought might be a small nest of snail eggs :(.

either u keep taking out snails or enjoy them with the plants

I decided to keep the snails. My late cycle would probably kill them off. Anyway, they seem to like my bog wood!

The first plant is MYACCA FLUVIATILIS.

The second is some kind of sword.

Man, my fogwort or whatever it's called is growing a few inches everyday! Or it seems like it. I'm going to have to prune it!

dont forget to replant the bits you prune off.

i think you could do with a few more plants, are you planning on getting any?

Yeah, I'm planning on getting more. A little bit later though. It's looking much better now. I was thinking of adding a nice slate cave for plecos to hide in. And maybe I could have moss or grass growing on the wood and slate. I need to prune that "MYACCA FLUVIATILIS" or hogroot/fogwort!? :p

Where can I buy moss or grass?

Okay. It's not so crappy anymore.

My new Fancy Tailed Fish. It was something other than Goldfish. But close and as hardy to it!

Update: Fish died :(. I knew it wouldn't last too long. Guess I'll have to use ammonia again.
