I would love to go marine love clown fish, but there is alot to learn on the marine side.

I'd stay tropical for the next couple of tanks - I find the marines too expensive to get started properly compared to tropical.

Plus, you can't have gold nuggets in a marine!!!

Marine is our next step - we have everything except the live rock and skimmer :)

Its just a matter of time :)

I posted this in the wrong section, sorry.

My next tank will definitely be marine. I started to do it with th 75 gallon I just finished setting up but wanted to get just a little more experience under my belt. I love all the color and variety of SW fish. Naturally, my wife wants a "Nemo" so I know it will have clown fish for sure.

My 75G is most deffinatley going to be marine. You can get cooler looking fish! Liker nemo! I have a facination with triggerfish too!

I'm just staying tropical at the moment, but I'm going to do a saltwater tank (125 gallon) for her office.

So, free tank for me practically

Not me, I've got SO much to learn about tropical fish, and given current lifespans, I don't suppose I've got more than 50 years to do it in. ;)

I'd love to go marine but soo expensive and i lot more work. maybe one day.

well if I had more money i would probably keep the fresh water tanks and have another for marine, but what I would love the most are the riffs and corals, I'm curious on how they grow. :)

Marine are nice but id buy a 200 gallon tropical tank and have the biggest community tank ever, everytype of fish amung the vast rocky and planted areas and let nature take its course. Wonderfull.

stay tropical but if i had the money and got the experiance id concider going marine

I would like to get a 55g or 29g fresh water b/c i don't want to go through the trouble of setting one up right now. I have some troubles with my 10g right now. I don;t know why but there has been a pattern. I add 4, 2 die, replace them and their fine after that. Then add4 2 die. I think it is b/c I add too many @ one time for that small of a tank.

You are probably right. Adding 4 fish to a 10 gallon creates a pretty big mini cycle for the filtration. Two at a time is about all you can do for a small tank.
