The uk has a major lack of show quality bettas, there are a few die hard importers and breeders doing their best but I haven't seen much that would stand up at an international level. If you could have any betta type and colour what would you have?

I have a list long as your arm, hehe...

Rosetail BF green and white, yeah i should be so lucky, or a 100% albino Rosetail and a 100% albino HM that i could spawn and make my first million

Me too. Most of all i would love a Black and Purple HM and a copper marble HM seen both an aquabid but not much good to me on there

Giant HM's and Rosetails - was talking with a breeder in thialand, but he seems to be away ATM.

The problem with ordering from abroad is a) cost, b ) legality issues and c) for some reason the pesky far easterners often send fish which are nothing like the ones you chose. I know several people this has happened to.

I must say I've had one seller who sent pictures and I said are you sure the fish is halfmoon because it doesnt look it and they said oh its just lazy, then when I got the fish it only had a very poor caudal spread, like delta spread! Now this seller had waaay overcharged me anyway, and messed me about something chronic so I was not happy bunny. To top it off the fish died within a couple of weeks before I could send him back damn him. Now the seller keeps making these sarcastic comments when selling other bettas like "the fish are halfmoon but I'm calling them deltas so people don't accuse me of stuff"... Nice customer service eh???

I must say I have seen several sellers in the uk selling fish called halfmoon when they blatantly do not have 180 degree spread. Still charging for it though...

Kev at KG Bettas has some show quality stock atm actually, just come in to prove me wrong hehe!

how about .... a butterfly, halfmoon, double rosetail in graduate rainbow colour? i'm not saying someone should breed something like that, but just imagine what it'll look like :hyper:
