If I Were To Breed Them..

If I wanted to breed Shrimp and Chai, what would I need to do it?
My mum won't let me, but I'd be interested to find out what I'd need if I did want to do it. I know a lot of time and effort is involved, and so I wouldn't even think about attempting it until I'd left school, but it's something I'd definitely be interested in when I get older!

a Spawn Tank, (usually 30l or more is recommended, mine is a 60l)
General equipment (heater/filter (preferably sponge filter) plants etc)
Foods (both conditioning and fry foods)
Jars etc (i have 20 small tanks that can be divided into 2 and several 7l tubs i am planning to divide into 3 if needed, a way of keeping them warm)

To be prepared for daily waterchanges once you have fry and once jarred

can't think of nothing else off the top of my head

I'd only really need to pick up a new tank, filter and heater!
I would love to breed them now, but I think I'll need to read up a lot more on methods.
When I'm older, though, I'd really love to do this as a project. Then I can pick out a beautiful pair and pay good attention to any fry I manage to get!
