If I Wanted A 'smallish' Shrimp Tank...

I've just discovered i quite like the little buggers but so do ropefish so keeping them in my community tank is a no no. I'd like to have a small tank with some in, would need to be small or the missus will kill me!

A shrimp tank isn't really any different to a normal fish tank so you need the usual things like a heater and filter. I would recommend having some plants, especially moss as it is home to the micro organisms and algae that shrimp like to eat.

A 10G is a good size for a small shrimp tank... follow the link to ukshrimp in my sig... there is an article on setting up a shrimp tank on there.
