Identifying My Goldfish

What breed is my goldfishy wishy?

Some sort of fantail/ veiltail.

I'd say a ryukin. Which as far as I know is fantail with a kind of humped back .

it looks like some fantail type . . .

if it was a ryukin, the shape of the body would be more heart-ish

the body & fins/tail of your goldfish seems to not look like the ryukin's

but i can be wrong though, maybe a better picture or something?

I think it's just that it's a low-quality ryukin..I mean that In a good way though. Like it's more of a mix between regular a fantail and a ryukin.

It looks pretty young too, it could grow towards either strain as it gets older.

okay thanks guys, i suspected it might have been a ryukin, think it might be a faintail more, i guess i will see as it develops

most recognized mark on a true ryukin is the hump straight after the head.
bigger the hump better quality ryukin you got
but looks like its got ryukin in the lines somewhere ....

When I first saw the picture immediately, thats what I thought, a Ryukin. Where did you get it and what size tank is it in?

its DEFINATLY a low quality ryukin. theyve been poorly breed all over so most of them have only 1 of the usual traits. mine has the smallest humpback ever but is almost as wide as he is long! yours just has the humpback thing and no to much of the golfball in water look. good luck with it though
