I got some Ghost Shrimp for my community tank to see if other shrimp would work in there, but one of the "Ghost shrimp" looks small (about half the size of the adult ghostie) and is a milky white color with about 4 black stripes only on its back...what kind of shrimp did I get mixed in with the others? I'll try to get pics, but I can't guarantee them...
BTW- the shrimp are doing fine so I hope to get some Cherry Reds soon!
Also, I have a lot of brown algae in my tank, but not a lot of green algae, I think the ghosties only eat green algae, if this is the case, what else should I feed them? I have Omega 1 Tropical Fish Flake, Omega 1 Sinking Shrimp Pellets, Aquarian Floating Pellets, Bloodworm (Frozen and Freeze-Dried) and some samples of Tetra brand Tropical Fish flake, and some Bio-Blend or whatever (Its by Marineland) pellets that some sink and some float...the sinking ones look green so I assume they are plant based, BTW they are very small, small enough to perfectly fit in my Harlequins rasboras mouth. Also I will put in some cucumber in the tank sometimes.
