hey all
i know that platies will breed in a communtity tank
but i want to be a good breeder
i have a 10 gal tank with substrate
with 3 way filter .
so what is the ideal set up! :shout:

Lots of Plants, include Java Moss. Have lots of hiding plces, I use slate stacked up on top of each other in a cave design. Also, good food, preferably live. That is all there is to it.

Substrate is actually less ideal for fry if you're keeping a separate fry tank. I prefer to use sand in my tanks as it makes cleaning the waste really easy, because anything that isn't pulled into the filter is on top of the sand. Breeding Platies is easy. That's what they do in nature. There's not a lot you can do to mess things up. If they're alive, they will breed. That's the general rules. Prepare to have lots of fry overwhelming you in no time! :)

the stuff is sand
k i can just suck out the and using a python
