i think its a L114

any way i bought it yesterday payed £40 and its almost 8 inches, didnt think it was a bad price i payed £30 for a 2 inch one a few months ago!
hes in with a few other plecs and another large common, 8 discus 25 rummy nose tetras and a few clown loaches and corries ( wont be anything else being added!)
very placid and just chills out with the other big plec which i didnt think would happen to be honest
what you think?

My best guess would be a subspecies of the spotted highfin pleco.

Why does it look like the tail on the second picture is ripped

yeah i agree 114, think the fin is just slightly closed on that pic makin it look "stripey"

100% Pseuda, I would say 114 as well, 600 is the only other possibility but 114 sits better to my eye.

£40 for that is an absolute steal.

The damage to the fins should heal with time

I would also say its L114 common name: Leopard Cactus plec.
If you need to handle this fish later on at some point for what ever reason, make sure you wear leather gardening gloves as it will rip your hands open like a hot knife through butter

Very nice

And good price. I paid £45 for a 2 1/2 in fish. It has grown quite quickly though.
