I don't know whether this is in the right section, but as I don't know what this fish is, I can't be sure where to post

Could also be Semaprochilodus insignis, which is what mine were labelled as, they are very difficult to tell apart.

Whichever it is, they are plant destroyers! When I was "up the Amazon", the guys on the boat used to catch them for dinner, swim in large schools and apparently, easy to catch, and tasty, (I don't eat fish so can't comment!).
