I just purchased these two guys
labled as Corydoras Sp.

any ideas?

hmm possibly
the pics I've seen of C.axelrodi dont have a black trailing edge on the dorsal fin. :dunno:

They look like C. axelrodi to me too. Since that species has some variations, they could well be part of it.

Nice looking fish too. :thumbs:

I have phoned the shop and told them what they are.
I also told them that what they are selling as C.adolfoi (which they spelt adolphi) are
in fact C.imitator.
I shall be getting them next week :D

Thats awesome. The LFS's around here do not get any interesting cories. The only kinda rare one Ive found are the Corydoras leucomelas and I got 6 of those :nod:
