that's no GN, the gold on them is usually very very vivid, even in a blurred pic you should still see it.

Did you buy it when it was very young?

Our very first BN was really spotty when we bought her - and to the untrained shop assistant it might i suppose be mistaken... possibly - if they screwed their eyes up..

yeah shes now about 4 years old and when we bought them they where only about an inch long (sl) and they had quite prominant yellow spots but they sort of faded over time

yeah similar although when we got ours they were alot darker (almost black) than they are now, thats probably why they were marked as such
