Id Please?

Hi all,

Bought this at my LFS and it was labeled as a "spotted ancistrus pleco" but that's a little vague.

Here's a picture of the little guy:

Let me know if there's a better pic you need... not sure what's needed to ID plecs. Thanks.

Immature bristlenose? Total guess I'm afraid... I'm sure someone will properly ID him soon.

Looks like a BN to me

I was thinking it's a BN. It's funny cause they have a BN for $25 there and this guy was half the price.

Yup that's a 'domestic' ancistrus, common BN.

Great little fish.

i think i paid about £5 for my brissle nose i think its about $3/$4

Yeah. Unfortunately my LFS has everything over priced... but it's the only fish I can get.

That is unless I want to go to Petsmart with their poor selection and at least 5 dead fish in each tank.
