i looked in my tank this morning and noticed little starfish like creatures on the glass of my tank. they are about 1mm in diameter and have a small white dot as their body and legs around the white dot. they resemble starfish but are tiny. any ideas. i cant get a pic they are too small

Some can be if they are hydroids. Have a google search and see what you think. Also check for Asterina Starfish, could be those too

 Portugese Man-O-War comes to mind :hey: !! These are probably those jellies that everyone with a new/ newish tank seems to find. I believe they are the smallest known Jellyfish in the world growing to whooping 1-2mm and they are COMPLETELY harmless. After a few months they all die off which is a real shame because I quite liked them.

Hope this helps

Regards

Joe
