Not to knock you in anyway, but it might be hard to identify the little guy or girl with the pictures you have. Try and get a clearer picture that is closer up to the fish. I just want to help, I hope it does.

arnt they called somethink like a calico bristlenose ??? lol knowing me im prob completely wrong :p

we think they are the following

LDA16 (calico) bristlenose
but will update 2mrw ie friday when i have feed them some food and cucumber

if they are

LDA16 (calico) bristlenose plecs

how do we breed them are they like the common ones just add cave and bogwood male and female and thats it

oh they not mine i brought common breeding pairs x2 and got these for a freind who picking them up in 3wks or so

they are common bn, albeit a calico (as Jen said) or piebald variant.

they were called ancistrus sp3, now ancistrus cf cirrhosus, if you go by planetcatfish naming system as i do

edit - to answer your question about breeding, yes just the same as common bn, they are common bn

As stated on planet catfish

Fish sold as LDA16 in shops may well be Ancistrus sp(3) in the calico form. This note is correct on the date of writing in July 2008

As far as i know their Ancistrus temmincki or very simular.
