can anyone ID this plec i just bought i was told it would grow to around 3-4inches

bascially what do popel know about it , how big does it, the price it should have been etc

Not too easy from that distance...

could be a Gold stripe panaque (L169)

what ever it turns out to be it looks unlikely to get above 4/5"

Looks like an LO15 aka candy striped plec and grows to about 4inchs ;

it will deffinatly prefere a meatier diet - most smaller plecs do.

If you looking for a small algae eater - try a Bristlenose or rubbernose.
