I had originally noticed this growth a few weeks ago, but assumed it was my mushroom propogating. Sure enough, now I have a new mushroom. However, the growth is still there. I don't know if I'm on my way to more mushrooms or of it's something not related. My first thought was a bubble anemone, but it doesn't really look like the pictures I've seen of that.
It's the same tint (although more translucent) as my red mushrooms, so it may very well be a part of the mushroom.
Any help with ID would be appreciated
