what the best way to prevent ick?

keep water parameters good, do regular water changes, keep stress levels down in the tank. now that I have a second small tank I will quarantine any new fish that i get for a few days to observe before adding them to the community tank.

Have a clean tank and make sure everything is ok and always make sure the fish u are buying do not have white spots anywhere on the body.
