i am so pissed off...

i bought a new betta from a usually good place for bettas...

now.. about a week later, almost every fish in the tank has ick...

my bcbettas females, all have ick...

im so angry.. all my huge ones have ick too...

theres 3 that i have that dont appear to have ick so theyre all in cups for now with meds... and the tank is being treated aswell... ill have to do a 100% water change aswell...

im so pissed :grr:

to add to that.. my new fish... froma diff store..

1 of the guppies brought home ick... the other brought in tail rot..

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

and my new kribs... the males wont stop fighting...

booooooooooo...

its time for some big changes... all the bettas will now be in a 3 gallon... the 10 gallon they used to be in will go to the healthy guppies and 1 of the kribs.....

and the sick guppies will go in cups too.. tough times...

at least none of the males have ick.... bah.. whatever... at least i know not to buy fish from those 2 places anymore.. i now have 0 pet stores to go to... ill have to hope that my fish breed and stay strong...

HOPE EVERYONES HAVING FUN TIMES :D

-_- You seem to have an unusually high amount of troubles with your bettas. I think you would save more money in the long run if you invested in a quarantine tank. It certainly would have saved you all this mess! Very sorry to hear about it, and I hope you get all the diseases cleared up asap.

that sucks. it's one of those things thats hard to avoid if you keep your bettas together though. good news is ich is treatable, my first betta (a LFS veil tail) got it and survived. he's still going strong too, a year and a half later. julie makes a great point about getting a "hospital" tank. you gotta have one.

I am treating my tank from ICH too, got myself some neons and the next day all half the tank is scratching. I am starting to cycled a quarantine tank. From now on all new fish will be there for 2 weeks, :sly: If no problem they go to the designated tank.

Good grief iloveyou,I think you are cursed with bad luck bettas. Hope things get better soon. Wishing GOOD luck comes your way. ;)

its weird... for like a month i had no problems...

one of the good things tho... the guppies ick is alrdy gone... i caught it quick enough and treated overnight... now he has no spots..

but all the bettas are lazy... they jus lie on things and dont really move much... a hospital tank wouldnt have helped cause one day none of them had it, next day, almost all of them did.... the ones without ick... theres 3... they are in separate cups... the odd thing is... 2 of the ones without ick had ick like a month ago and it cleared up, i thought theyd be more suseptable to it but i guess i was wrong... im gonna turn the 3 gallon into the hospital tank for now.... my kribs are fighting so one of them will have to go into the 10 the sick bettas were in....

the sick betta tank has white spots even on the java moss... everything will have to be cleaned with hot water...

hopefully i wont have to buy any more fish...

i can just keep these ones healthy and breed em ... i have 3 baby cons and a few baby guppies :)

and i got a pair of endlers... maybe i'll put them with the odd out kribensis...

monday will be a big fish day... cleaning out couple tanks and getting things back to normal hopefully... i dont think any of the ick bettas will die...

1 of them does have it really bad ... but im still hopefull... ill keep air on them, heater at about 82, salt, and some regular water changes... hopefully in a week or 2 they will be ok ..

who knows !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 :alien:
